Anyone who denies what Christie "meant" in his comment is being intentionally obtuse and ridiculous. At least stand firm in your convictions and don't bend over backwards to stick your head up your own backside. What he said was absolutely unacceptable and offensive and I am not some "thin skinned republican hater" blah blah. He made a terrible choice to respond the way he did and he should be ashamed of himself. He isn't a stand up comedian, he is the Governor of the State of New Jersey and as such represents the electorate. I was DISGUSTED and profoundly offended by his choice of words . It made is abundantly clear that this man can never represent on a larger scale. I absolutely thought differently of him after this. I am so embarrassed to have him as our governor.
