The new iPad gets hot, there's no doubt; but it is not 'overheating.' There is a *huge* difference between the two. Hot just means it might get uncomfortable to hold a certain way for an extended period of time (and if you've used a modern laptop on your lap while doing processor-intensive work, you should already be quite familiar with this); Overheated means it fails due to getting too hot. There have been NO reports of the New iPad failing due to heat issues. Not one. So top trying to make a story out of nothing. It gets hot - hotter than the previous iPad - but so do a lot of existing portable devices, and none of them get near the scrutiny of Apple's latest device.
