Alpine: NJ Single-Family Building Lot Goes For Record Price

A record-setting property sale has taken place in a wealthy section of Bergen County.

The seller more than doubled her money for a vacant lot that is within easy reach of the George Washington Bridge.

NorthJersey.com reported that the two-acre piece of property in Alpine went for $5 million, believed to be a record for a two-acre single-family building lot in that area.

The lot at 8 Stone Tower Drive, is located in the expensive Rio Vista neighborhood. According to NJ.com, owner Jane Huang paid $1.9 million for the property in 2002.
