Camden, N.J. -- The New Jersey State Police and Camden Police Department want the help from the media and the public to identify a man and woman wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on Collings Road in Camden on April, 24 2012, at around 8:00 p.m.
A female driver and male passenger in a black 4 door sedan, believed to be a Dodge Avenger, drove to the 1300 block of Collings Road, a known drug distribution area. A man captured on photo surveillance got out and attempted to interact with several people outside of a storefront and then returned to the car. The shooting victim then approached the passenger side of the vehicle, and after a brief interaction, ran away from the car. Shots were fired at the victim, one of which struck him in the ankle. The suspect vehicle was last seen leaving the scene toward I-676.
The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was treated for his injury and released. His identity is not being released because the investigation is still ongoing.
Suspect descriptions:
Passenger -- white male, 25-30 years old, approximately 5'09", 170 lbs, black close cropped hair, light beard and large earrings that stretch out his ear lobes (gauged ears).
Driver -- white female, 25-30 years old, approximately 5'06", 130 lbs, with blond or light brown hair in a pony tail.
