Police have arrested three people they believe are responsible for the brutal murder of rising New York rap star, Kampane Stoute, including a woman reported to be the girlfriend of the alleged shooter. The artist, whose real name is Rhian Stoute, was shot several times in the head and torso before his body was set afire in a vacant home in Englewood last week.
Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said Stoute and suspect Randy Manning drove to various malls in Paramus on Monday before arriving at the Englewood house located in the 300 block of Tryon Avenue where they may have argued over money. Manning allegedly shot the rapper with a .40 caliber handgun, then set the house on fire to cover his crime and fled the area in Stoute’s Black SUV.
Residents told the Record they heard what sounded like five or six gunshots coming from the scene of the murder around 7 p.m. Monday followed by a woman screaming. Another neighbor, who also heard the gunfire, stepped outside to see what was going on. That's when Mary Jane Walker, who recognized Manning from a photograph police showed her as a man who used to live on Belmont Street, says she saw a Black SUV backing out of the driveway of 370 Tryon Street, NorthJersey.com reported.

Police say Manning took Stoute's Black Chevy Tahoe to Brooklyn then reportedly returned to the house early the next morning where he loaded the body into SUV and abandoned the car on Village Circle West in Paramus. The Brooklyn resident then walked to Route 4 and Forest Avenue where 23-year-old Delroy Clarke was waiting to give him a ride. A neighbor noticed the SUV and called police to report a suspicious vehicle, the New York Daily News reported.
A press release from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office stated that Manning, 30, has been charged with first-degree murder, burglary, arson, desecration of human remains, and witness tampering. His girlfriend, Natuchka Etienne, of Brooklyn, and Clarke, of 114 Belmont Street are both charged with hindering apprehension. Police say Etienne, 23, allegedly lied to police in an attempt to create an alibi for Manning.
Judge Liliana DeAvila-Silebi ordered Manning held in lieu of $2 million bail with no 10 percent option until his first court appearance this afternoon at Bergen County Superior Court, Hasbrouck Heights Patch reported. Clarke and Etienne are being held at the Bergen County Jail under $50,000 and $10,000 bonds respectively. Police have not recovered the weapon used in the murder.
