Despite Orange County Jail spokesman, Allen Moore’s assurance that Casey Anthony was being treated “like any other inmate,” shortly after midnight Sunday, Casey Anthony left the jail under heavy guard to an awaiting Black SUV along with her attorney Jose Baez.

With her hair pulled back, donning a hot pink polo shirt and jeans, the 25-year-old left the Orange County jail as sheriff's deputies, armed with semi automatic weapons walked behind her and Baez. Police cruisers blocked the street outside the jail so the vehicle could make its way to a nearby highway ramp with no trouble from hecklers within the crowd, the Washington Post reported.

“This release had an unusual amount of security so, therefore, in that sense, it would not be a normal release," Moore said. “We have made every effort to not provide any special treatment for her.”

A CFNews13 report said that Journalists invited inside of the jail said that the entire release and escort lasted a mere 15 seconds. Associated Press reporter Matt Sedensky said Anthony appeared to be nervous and holding back tears. NBC News cameraman Tony Zumbado said he saw a sign of relief across Anthony's face and the only words she uttered were, “Thank you” to the unidentified SRT Sergeant who led her from the jail to the SUV.

The police escort kept the angry crowd at bay, but did little to stop news helicopters from following the SUV to a covered parking garage where one of Anthony's attorneys has offices. The SUV never left. Some speculated Anthony was somehow whisked away to Ohio, her parent’s home of record, in a twin-engine private jet from the Orlando Executive Airport but there was no positive confirmation that she boarded that or any other flight. An airport official later said the private jet, which took off around 1 a.m., was only carrying golfers from a Florida vacation, the Associated Press reported.

According to FoxNews, Anthony's parents would not allow her to return to their home after her release. Accusations during the trial that painted George Anthony as a brute who molested Casey Anthony throughout her childhood and that the former cop made Caylee's death look like a homicide following an accidental drowning have made for a relationship between parents and daughter.

On July 5, the world learned the 25-year-old mother was acquitted of murder in connection with the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony in 2008. Anthony spent three years in jail awaiting trial, that time was credited to her sentence on the misdemeanor charges of lying to investigators Many wondered where she would go to start a new life with such intensive media attention focused upon her throughout the two months of testimony.

The Internet has been abuzz ever since the world learned Casey Anthony’s projected release date. Some tweeted Anthony would go to Puerto Rico to begin a new life.

One tweeter expressed disbelief that a “murderer is free to sip mojitos on an island” while the remains of her only child lay in a cold grave. Twitter member, bigdandbubba suggested that if Casey Anthony were smart, she would move to Antarctica. Others seemed to have a "let’s get past this" attitude. Tweeter jmcaninch68 wrote,“Dear #CNN et al.: I do not care where Casey Anthony is going, nor what happens to her. There is actually news to report: get to work.“ Rolandsmartin said, “My point is folks are obsessed with this case. I get the loss of a child's life. But I'm not obsessed with Casey Anthony. Death threats?”

One thing is for sure, whether Casey Anthony stays in Florida or she moves to Alaska, the road ahead of her will be rugged. Having dropped out of high school and being unemployed for the past three years will make for an arduous employment search in a country with soaring unemployment rates where even college graduates are having a hard time finding work.

Acquittal or not, Casey Anthony did not get off “scott free,” and based on the thousands of negative and angry comments left on various news sites, there aren’t very many Americans likely to allow her to forget her daughter.

I wish I saw her on the street I'd beat her with a black thorny stick to go with her black heart.
