WHERE THEY NEED HELP: Defensive end, linebacker, safety
ANALYSIS: This is a team that is as talented as there is on offense in the AFC and still underachieved. Quarterback Phillip Rivers overcame a hold out by top wide receiver Vincent Jackson, and the slow development of first round pick Ryan Matthews. The Chargers should be fine on offense. The question is how will the defense do. They need to upgrade at defensive end, and linebacker.
WHAT THEY SHOULD DO: Select best defensive end available, J.J. Watt, Cameron Jordan and Muhammad Wilkerson of Temple
WHERE THEY ARE EXPECTED TO USE THE FIRST PICK: If Jordan is available, they take him, if not the Chargers select J.J. Watt, defensive end Wisconsin
