2011 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills analysis and predictions

WHERE THEY NEED HELP: Quarterback, Defensive line, linebacker

ANALYSIS: The Bills have decided to go another season with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. Up to last year, Fitzpatrick was considered a career backup, but after taking over the starting job, he threw for 23 touchdowns in 13 games. The Bills will therefore look to the defensive side of the ball. Von Miller of Texas A & M would give them a bonafide pass rusher from the outside in a 3-4 scheme. At this point, they cannot count on an injured Shawn Merriman. If they go for defensive line, it should be Nick Fairley of Auburn or Marcell Dareus of Alabama if he has not been taken by Denver.

WHAT THEY SHOULD DO: Miller is exactly what the Bills need in the 3-4 defense. He is the best linebacker in the draft, and should start from day one.

WHERE THEY ARE EXPECTED TO USE THE FIRST PICK: Linebacker, Von Miller, Texas A&M
