2011 NFL Draft: Denver Broncos analysis and predictions

WHERE THEY NEED HELP: Defensive line, secondary

ANALYSIS: The Broncos need defensive help. They gave up 471 points in 2010, two short of the franchise worst set in 1963. They gave up 2,473 rushing yards, a franchise worst, and a franchise worst 26 rushing touchdowns. They gave up 390.08 yards per game, the worst in the NFL last season. They gave up a league worst 29.4 points per game. They were not able to make up for the loss of Elvis Dumervil last year, and need to rebuild the defensive line. Their secondary is aging as Brian Dawkins will be starting his 17th season, Renaldo Hill is entering his 11th, and Champ Bailey is a free agent

WHAT THEY SHOULD DO: Draft Marcel Dareus, Defensive tackle, Alabama. Address the rest of the defense in the other rounds.

WHERE THEY ARE EXPECTED TO USE THE FIRST PICK: Marcel Dareus, Defensive tackle, Alabama
