2011 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears analysis and predictions

WHERE THEY NEED HELP: Offensive line, defensive tackle

ANALYSIS: The Bears allowed 56 sacks last year, the most in the NFL. Fans will remember quarterback Jay Cutler being sacked nine times against the Giants, and six times by the Packers. You can't have your most important offensive player be a Pinatta for opposing defensive lines to tee off on. A defensive tackle to play inside of Julius Peppers and be run stuffer would also help.

WHAT THEY SHOULD DO: If Derek Sherrod is not drafted by Baltimore and still on the board, then grab him. If he is gone, then take tackle Nate Solder of Colorado or guard Danny Watkins of Baylor. If going for defensive line help, Corey Liuget, defensive tackle from Illinois, or Phil Taylor from Baylor. Our belief is that the Bears will look to fix the offensive line, and Solder will be the pick

WHERE THEY ARE EXPECTED TO USE THE FIRST PICK: Offensive tackle, Nate Solder of Colorado
